Knee Deep in Ketchup

Some of the highlights of this here blog-thingie:
  1. hearing how much my mother gets a hoot out of reading it
  2. getting to be creative in a scrapbooky kind of way without having to associate with your typical scrapbooker
  3. connecting with other bloggers
I haven't really done that last part yet, but what I have been is linked by a blogger I greatly admire for his charm, wit, and utter fabulousness:
The above is a screen capture from Cafe Muscato, the blog of a gentleman of taste and refinement living in Oman. Believe me when I tell you I visit his site every day. Every day. He reminds me that no matter where you live on the planet, there is no excuse to settle for anything other than the very best life has to offer.
So, when I discovered several weeks ago that he'd linked me to his website, I squealed like a little girl on a brand new bike.
On top of that, I'm linked right after Joe*My*God -- another daily stop in my trip around the world wide web. Joe sits in a category all by himself. I relate to his blog on so many levels I can't describe it.
Now I'm going to have to lobby CM to see if I can prevent him putting anything between me and Joe -- maybe tickets to the Ava Gardner Museum...
