Knee Deep in Cinema

We went last night with the Awesome Neighbors to see the new Coen Brothers film Burn After Reading. Much, MUCH more enjoyable than No Country for Old Men (IMHO) -- everything wrapped up nicely, there were no "huh?" moments, and it was funny as sh*t. About halfway into the movie I was reminded why Brad Pitt is a movie star. Aside from being fun to look at, he just went for it in this character and was totally believable as a dimwitted, would-be blackmailer. I totally have to see Blood Simple.
(p.s., much thanks to the Awesome Neighbors for a lovely home-cooked meal prior to the movie.)
